UPDATE - "The 30 Day Shred"

Hello everybody, hope you are all okay! I have been wanting to lose some weight for a long time now, but I love junk food and I am very lazy, so I never really bothered to really get into it. After reading a lot about The 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels, I really wanted to try it. As far as I know, you do level 1 for ten days, level 2 for ten days, then level 3 for another ten days. Each level is around 20 minutes each, so that's not much a day, the only challenge for me is that, it's a continuous workout, with no breaks and that's what I think will be hard for me, as I am not very fit. Accompanied with healthy eating and cutting out junk food, this DVD/exercise regime seems very successful and I am looking forward to trying it. 

If anybody else is interested in doing this, I will be posting on this with a weekly update on how I am finding it, how I feel, and any results I am seeing so if you are interested, please look at this. I am planning on starting this after I have finished this months period, which should come in a few days, (Sorry if too much information, we are all girls here!) but I know when I am on, I don't want to do anything other than eat chocolate and sit with a hot water bottle, I defiantly do not want to be exercising!

Along with following her intense exercise regime, I am trying a personal diet plan which I have made for myself. It's not a perfect diet as I live with my parents and can't really cook crazy meals, but I am going to try drink a minimum of 3 glasses of water a day (I don't really drink a lot, so this on it's own is a challenge for me), I'm going to try and eat at least 2 portions of fruit and vegetables, No red meat as I am giving that up for lent, and no chocolate/fried/fatty food. I am hoping this will work for me and I am looking forward to keeping track of this journal. I will post again on this post when I am starting and with before photographs. I hope you will all support me with my decision to do this, and I would love some of you to join me doing it so we can talk about our experiences doing this. SATURDAY FEBRUARY 16TH
I have decided to start this workout on Monday, as I feel if I wait too long I will lose motivation and not want to do it. I have took my before pictures and they have made me feel more motivated than ever, so Monday will be the start of something new! Here are my Before Photo's, please support me as it has took a lot for me to even upload these. 

Again, it has took me a lot to just upload these and I'm really hoping nobody I know in the 'real world' will see these, as I am embarrassed. I am not 'fat' but am just chubby and flabby. The left photo's are disgusting are they are the real motivators for me. I will be back in a few days time, to let you know how I am getting on!

  1. Good Luck! I lost 3.5 stone a couple of years ago and so I know how much willpower it takes! I'm finishing the last of the chocolate in my house at the minute and then not buying anymore haha x

    1. I hope so, looking at the left side photos of the college i feel like a whale, so disgusting and its getting me down now and enough is enough, maybe you should start monday and we can do it together! xxxx

    2. Don't be silly, honestly but i know how you feel i'm the same i'd just like to feel more fit. I might finish my chocolates today and start tommrow hehe i actually have a copy of the 30 day shred on my laptop so no excusee.! x

    Good for you girl! I really admire the fact you've uploaded these photo's aswell, I know photo's can be motivating - but I also want to say I think you have what looks like a great shape, hourglass? And a lovely slim pair of legs. I know weight can be a really strenuous, daunting prospect, but you can do it 100% - and not because you HAVE to but because you WANT to :) good luck hun. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself! Hey maybe I'll join you! I have some unwanted weight I've been meaning to shift since Christmas!
