If you read my post below, you know my sister brought some MAC products. As a first time MAC buyer, I can honestly say I am slightly disappointed with what we brought. I thought I would do a more in depth review of the lipstick. All opinions are my own and are 100% honest.
Looking at the packaging, I really love how it looks, MAC's design is simple yet it's very nice. I don't really get drawn into lipsticks which have bright coloured packaging etc, all my lipsticks are simple black what's the word... tubes? I have never brought anything from MAC before and I was happy when I opened my package.
After opening the package, I realised this isn't the one I ordered, but as I didn't buy it from a MAC store or website, I can't return it. The colour isn't bad at all, but it's not personally one I would go out and buy. I knew just looking at the colour that it won't be nice on my skin. I have an olive skin tone and anything nude/peach or light is a big no for my skin. It just kind of clashes and I don't like how it looks on.
Here is a swatch of the colour and hopefully you can see it okay, my window sill is the only place in my room which has light as I have a very dark purple room! I would describe it as a coral peach tone and again, not personally a colour I would buy! I have never really been a fan of pearly looking lipstick and shiny, I prefer a matte lipstick then you can add shine with a gloss etc.
Here is it on my lips, again I don't like how it looks. The actual lipstick does make my lips feel nice but I always have dry lips and they peel etc and it's not nice and this really smoothed out any cracks etc and that is what I did like about it. It's just the colour on me. In my personal opinion for me I would rate this a 2 / 5 which is going to be surprising because I know this is one of MAC's top sellers!
